There are 3 mandatory sets of information to be entered for each order:
The Pick up Location
The Drop Off Location
Order Date and Time
The Pick up and Drop Off have the same structure, and they consist of:
The Address itself
The Zone of the address (and this Zone is mandatory) – Zones are managed by the system admin
Optional “TAG”: to be used if the dispatcher wants to save the customer’s preferred address for future use (as “HOME” or “WORK” of “OFFICE” tags)
For the Address part, Limontaxi supports 3 possible choices to help the data entry process. The dispatcher must choose one of the following 3 choices for the address:
NEW: Where you will enter the address for the first time (if this is new customer, or this is a new address for that customer)
SAVED: Here you will see list of all the addresses used in previous orders for that customer, so you can pick one of them. And if TAG was added, you will see the address in the following format ”TAG | Address “
POI: This list if famous addresses in your city , created and managed by your system admin
Hint: While typing an address for the first time in the “New” field, you will see list of suggested addresses as retrieved from Google Maps. This can be very good helper as you can use it to get the Map pointer dropped in the nearest major landmark close to the customer address.
Once you entered (or selected) an address for the Pick Up or Drop Off, a yellow POINTER will be placed on the map showing the location of that address.
After the POINTER is dropped on the map, you can fine tune the Pickup/DroppOff location by zooming and moving the pointer to the exact building of the pick up or the drop off (this needs the customer to provide you with further guidance as for example: the intersection between 2 streets etc.)
After fine tuning the address, you must select the Zone.
And after entering (or choosing) the Drop Off, the system will automatically draw a route between the Pick Up and the Drop Off points, and will calculate the trip distance, estimated price and duration according to the settings done by your company admin.
You can have a look onto these estimations to help you advise the customer about the charges (according to your internal business process)
Finally you should enter the order pick up Day and Time, and optionally add comments (if any), and then press the button “Create Order”
